Legend has it that the Janare, at night, after anointing themselves with a magical ointment, took flight on broomsticks. They were heading for the meeting place, a majestic walnut tree, located near the city of Benevento and to which magical and supernatural properties have been attributed since antiquity.

The wines in this line come from organically farmed vineyards, located in the lower hills, on gravelly alluvial soils mixed with pyroclastic deposits. Purosannio is a highly innovative cru in which the expression of the wines, characterised by a vibrant aromatic freshness, derives primarily from the production techniques adopted, which tend to fully restore the characteristics of the terroir of origin: the hillside with north-eastern exposure.
